Welcome to Sugar & Spice, the TAFL-approved fanlisting dedicated to Tsumugi Kotobuki from K-On!. If you weren't aren't familiar with the series, K-On! is an ongoing four-panel comic strip manga written and illustrated by Kakifly, which was later adapted into a thirteen-episode anime. The story of K-On! revolves around four girls in high-school who join their school's light music club in an attempt to save it from being abolished.
One of these four girls is Tsumugi Kotobuki, or Mugi, as she is nicknamed by her friends. Mugi
is the keyboard player of the band and is somewhat of a piano prodigy. She has a sweet and gentle
personality and is very generous towards her friends.
Yui Hirsasawa, a member of the same club & friend of Mugi's, describes her to be "very much like a fine lady" from a prestigious family. This is partially true, as Mugi is from a wealthy family that owns many properties. She's very humble and soft-spoken though, and does not make much of this fact. Since her father owns a maid café, she often brings sweets and pastries whenever the girls are together, whether they are studying or practicing!
While all four girls are very close, Mugi and Mio Akiyama seem to be closest. This is never
really spoken or even confirmed, but they seem to have the same opinions of things and often agree.
The two work together the best, usually to help Yui, as their personalities do not usually conflict.
After the holidays, they are the only two that are comfortable discussing their weight-gain with each
other... which probably sounds odd, but to me, that means they must be close - close enough to discuss
this topic with eachother ONLY, and not the other girls. ♥
